NAACP Theatre Awards...
A beautiful evening was had and we took home two awards...
The NAACP presents theatre awards to celebrate outstanding achievements by people of color, elevate Black storytelling, and foster diversity in the arts. Rooted in the organization's broader civil rights mission to secure equal rights and eliminate race-based discrimination, these events provide a platform to recognize marginalized artists who historically face exclusion in the entertainment industry.
These honors—primarily produced by the NAACP Beverly Hills/Hollywood Branch as a "Salute to Black Theatre"—serve to entertain and inspire the local community while ensuring the cultural contributions of Black thespians are properly celebrated
