
Carmen Hayward
Carmen Hayward was born in Los Angeles, reared in Louisville, KY, and Washington, D.C. and later returned to Los Angeles, graduated from Dorsey High School, and from LA City College as a theater major. She received a scholarship to U.S. International University's School of Performing and Visual Arts, performing in musical theatre production; and, then transferred to UCLA majoring in theater where she performed in main stage musical productions. With an AA, a BA degree, and classes at Inner City Cultural Center in hand, she started to work as a singer and actress in movies, television, public service announcements, and on stage.

Carmen Hayward is a SAG/AFTRA performing artist (listed as an IMDb black Western movie actress) and a stage, television and special events producer. She is a former board member at the Ensemble Studio Theater in Hollywood, and she worked for ABC-TV, ABC Motion Pictures and Taft Entertainment Television before executive producing a talk show, Gettin’ It Right. Carmen is an administrator for the West Coast Performing Arts Legacy project, and an officer on the Los Angeles Inner City Cultural Center (LAICCC) board of directors. She is a UCLA graduate.
